We know we have been somewhat quiet since the launch of our new company, but this does not mean we’re just sitting around twiddling our thumbs. In fact, we’ve been working pretty hard behind the scenes on several new projects. This website, of course, is just one of them.

A few weeks ago on Facebook, Natasha shared a sneak-peek at three images from a new series she’s working that she is calling Cupcake Kitty. She says she loves the combination–cupcakes and kittens–because it’s two things that kids love. We think she’s fond of those two things herself. icon wink Working. Working. Working.   Playful and bright, Natasha says this series is just “full of happy.” At the moment, she’s only planning to do five images in the series. More to come on these, soon.

We’re also working on ornament series for the holidays. This will be cool, don’t you think? Natasha’s trees hanging from your tree?  Natasha’s been toiling away quietly on the design concepts for the ornaments, but maybe she’ll let us release an image or two of her rough concepts in a few days.

In addition to the children’s book Natasha is working on, we’ve also started work on a book of Natasha’s art. The flat plan is coming along nicely and we might share a little of the work in progress over the summer. Our goal is to release this book in October 2011.

This is all we can share for now, but make sure you visit often. You can also join us on Facebook at www.facebook.com/wescoatart. Better still, sign up for our newsletter here: Sign up. Oh, and make sure you give us your birth date. Who knows, we might actually do something fun when your special day rolls around.

If you like what you’re seeing so far, don’t forget to comment on this post or over on Facebook. We listen to Natasha’s fans.
